Print-on-demand and eBooks

eBook readers been around for a while on various devices and platforms.

eBooks are easy to publish and distribute but now, with print-on-demand, paperback books are also an option.

In the past, self-published authors took their manuscript to a printer and ordered copies. These books could be sold to friends and family or left abandoned in the spare room.

Now, with print-on-demand, authors no longer have to worry about storing boxes of unsold books. Instead companies like Blurb or CreateSpace print your book when somebody orders it. This takes all the hassle and expense away from the author who need only sit at home and wait for a royalty cheque.

Having both eBook and print versions is a great way to increase your sales as well as impress friends and family.

In this workshop Sue Bell will demonstrate how to convert your manuscript for both print and eBook and upload to Amazon.
